Force In Motion

In MMA you have to be smart physically, mentally, and emotionally. If you are willing and wanting to take all the risks in the cage to fight then you have to train your butt off! Some submissions, moves, take downs, and other things about MMA, I will tell you about it later. When you are in the cage, you can’t only think about what you’re about to do; You have to think about what you’re gonna do after that, then after that, and after that. You should always think ahead. When you first start training you have to remember, you’re gonna get hit back regardless. You can not blackout. If you blackout, you’re most likely gonna get beat up because you will not know what you are doing. When you are fighting in the cage or training against someone at your gym, you need to remember to always breathe out every punch or take down you make. If you ever start training, MMA is a very aggressive and tough sport so you have to take it seriously. You will get very intense sometimes, but it’s okay because everybody does. The more you train, the more you are improving. When you hit 18 and start fighting MMA, your hands are gonna be considered weapons. At this point, if you get into a fight on the streets you can go to jail. Fighting on the streets and in the cage is two DIFFERENT things. Some people don’t understand where I am coming from until they actually come to my gym and see for themselves. In training you will learn what to do in different situations and learn what not to do. One of my favorite quotes is from Anderson Silva, he says,”My ultimate goal is to go down in history as the most efficient and technical fighter that has ever fought.” This quote inspires me about my MMA fighting. Remember, always be smart and be thinking ahead of yourself when you’re in the cage or even training.
